Adult Lunch Box


Who decided that a balanced bento box was ONLY for kids?⁣ ⁣ Our clients that don’t have access to a microwave for lunch absolutely love the #AdultLunchBox idea and use it throughout their week. ⁣ ⁣ Today we have one example of a balanced bento box. Filled with: ⁣ ⁣ 🥑Chicken salad w/avocado oil mayo⁣ 🥒Cucumber slices⁣ 🥕Baby carrots⁣ 😋Cauliflower ⁣ 🥦Broccoli ⁣ 🍎And honeycrisp apple slices ⁣ ⁣

The focus with the Adult Lunch Box is to fill it 1/2 with vegetables, 1/4 with fruit and fats, and 1/4 with protein. ⁣ ⁣ It’s filling, quick and easy, a great way to get in some veggies, and there are so many ways to switch it up. ⁣ ⁣ Carbs in this meal: apple slices and veggies ⁣ Fats in this meal: avocado oil mayo ⁣ Protein in this meal: chicken⁣



⁣ Carbs we love for this: broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers, celery, peppers, arugula/spinach, grape tomatoes, apples, bananas, oranges, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, pita bread, tortillas, ezekiel bread, jam, skinny pop, pretzel thins/gluten free pretzels. ⁣ ⁣ Fats we love for this: avocado, almonds, cashews, peanuts, yogurt, @primalkitchenfoods dressings and mayo, nut butter. ⁣ ⁣ Proteins we love for this: chicken, turkey, hard boiled eggs, tuna, deli meat, protein shake, tofu. ⁣ ⁣ Create your #AdultLunchBox and tag us to show us your ideas!
