Disclaimer: we didn't create this recipe. We just love finding healthy, easy, quick recipes to try out... and we will only recommend the ones we love. This "No Bake Salted Tahini Cookie Dough Fudge" was a work of art by Ambitious Kitchen. If you're one for healthy recipes, seek her out. She's our go-to. (@ambitiouskitchen on Instagram!)
Anyways, in case you haven't heard... TAHINI IS THE NEW AVOCADO.
There's so much we can make and do with tahini because of its mild, nutty flavor. It's commonly found in hummus, and it's jam packed with Omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, and phosphorus. All of which may reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, + osteoporosis, and may increase bone density.

The macronutrient breakdown is something we love for those who find themselves in a fat deficit, and also wouldn't mind having a bite of fudge for dessert ;-)
Approx Macros (per square): 3g Protein / 9g Carbohydrate / 14g Fat
INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED:
1 cup tahini
¼ cup melted coconut oil
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
½ tablespoon good-quality vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (we love the brand Enjoy Life for dairy-free chocolate chips! https://enjoylifefoods.com/our-food/baking-chocolate/dark-chocolate-morsels/), plus 2 tablespoons for sprinkling on top
Maldon or fancy sea salt, for sprinkling on top (we used pink himalayan sea salt)
Line a 8x4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper (we use our silicone baking mat or our beeswrap because #ecofriendly, we get all of our eco friendly products from https://packagefreeshop.com/ -- use FNF10 at checkout for 10% off your order!).
In a medium bowl, mix together the tahini, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla and salt until smooth. Fold in ¼ cup chocolate chips.
Pour the fudge into the pan. Freeze for 5-10 minutes, then sprinkle 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips on top on the fudge and press them in a bit if necessary.
Freeze until firm about 30 minutes.
Sprinkle with a little sea salt.
Cut into 15 squares.
Store fudge in freezer-safe container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
