TRUTH BOMB #5: Things that cost you $0 are more important than the things that cost you $100+


Detox programs, supplements. massages, sleeping pills, cryotherapy, CBD oil for anxiety, etc... before you swipe your credit card— take a pause. ⁣ ⁣ Is that really what you need?⁣ ⁣ Or are you just too lazy to put in the effort?⁣ ⁣ Short term fixes make you feel better for the short term. Period. ⁣ ⁣ There’s an underlying issue that these purchases are masking for you. And the good news is, the most important things you should be consistently doing for yourself are free. ⁣ ⁣ Check in with yourself... “Have I ______?”⤵️⁣ ⁣ 💤 Slept 7+ hours every night⁣ ⁣ 🚫🍻Been sober more nights than I have drank alcohol ⁣ ⁣ 📝Journaled daily ⁣ ⁣ 🧘🏻‍♀️Incorporated yoga + meditation regularly⁣ ⁣ 💦 Focused on my daily water intake ⁣ ⁣ 🥬🍎🍆Had a balance of color on my plate ⁣ ⁣ 🏋🏼‍♂️Incorporated functional fitness regularly⁣ ⁣ 📵Monitored my screen time ⁣ ⁣ 💆🏾‍♀️Completed a wind down/wake up routine (no phone, herbal tea, yoga/meditation, gratitude practice/journaling, dry brushing, tongue scraping, etc.)⁣ ⁣ 👯‍♂️Spent quality, present time with the people I care about⁣ ⁣ 🚶🏾‍♂️Increased my steps (10,000+/day)⁣ ⁣ We don’t need to spend more money to be healthier and feel optimal. Most of the time we just need to take an honest look in the mirror, check in with the above list, and get to work. ⁣ ⁣ Did we mention it’s free?⁣ #dothework#dothework
